Community House Improvement Project

The South Congregational Community House provides space where people from our church and the greater community can participate in offerings and gatherings. The Community House Improvement Project, with a goal of $330,000, will fund critical upgrades that enhance its functionality, accessibility, and sustainability.

Cost Overview

This project seeks to not only update the visual appeal of the Community House, but make it a safer, more efficient community center. Notable changes include a welcoming front landing & ADA compliant ramp, increased curb appeal, improved air quality & electrical systems, updated kitchen equipment, improved kitchen plumbing, ventilation, and lighting, among many other updates necessary for the safety and upkeep of our building.

  • Stairs from back door to provide additional access and egress.

  • Underground French drain in front yard to prevent future water intrusion.

  • Removal of unnecessary paved walkways.

  • Contemporary landscaping to enhance curb appeal.

  • Dishwasher, hand sink, & 3-bay sink

  • All improvements will meet industry/commercial standards.
