Wednesday Evening Vespers and Fellowship

 wednesdays at 7-8pm via Zoom

Vespers is what we do at Church Camp at the end of the day. We all gather in the outdoor chapel or around the campfire and we end the day together. We have a time of prayer and refocusing for the day. We would sing a bit, laugh some and savor being together. It was a sacred time. This August, South Church will host four Wednesday Virtual Vespers.

The first and third Wednesday (August 5th and 19th) will be catch up time and fellowship. We’ll check in, tell some stories about what’s happening at home, church and with friends. We’ll share prayer concerns and have a time of intercessory prayer.

The second and fourth Wednesday (August 12th and 26th)  we’ll have fellowship and a more intentional time of devotion. Scott will lead us in a different direction. We all have questions for the Almighty. And you may have actually said when you get to heaven there’s some things you’ll like to inquire about. We are going to hear about some of the questions God has for us. Did you know Jesus was asked 183 questions, he answered three of them. There is a lot to be gleaned from the questions God is asking us in scripture. Come and join us. Maybe God has  a question for you.

ZOOM in with us from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Vespers begin promptly at 7:30 and end by 8:00. You can be in bed at a reasonable hour.
