How to Serve

From Deacons (July 31):

We still have Sunday flowers when we tape the online service.

If you wish to provide a bouquet/arrangement there are openings available: August 23 and 30 and all Sundays in September. The taping is actually done on Fridays.

The flowers need to be at the church prior to the Friday afternoon taping, before 1:00 pm or if ordered from a florist they may be delivered on Thursday. If you wish to leave your flowers they will be delivered to someone by the Deacon In Charge or you may take them home with you after the Friday taping, 2:30/3:00 pm.

Please let the office know if you wish to do flowers on one of the open dates, provide a message if you wish for the online bulletin and if you will be taking or leaving your flowers.

Refugees are still in need of assistance!

Meditation Garden Help

We are looking for volunteers to help care for the South Church Meditation Garden (next to the church parking lot), and the Anniversary Garden (in front of the church).  No experience needed- just sign up for one week this summer to help weed and water, only one visit a week is needed, and it usually takes only an hour (or 2 at most).  You can pick the week, and later decide the day and the time based on your own convenience and the weather.  Sign up by contacting Missy Jordan at

Annual Events
